Helping the Carribean and Latin American Poor
One Patient at a Time
Under the leadership of the late Anthony V. Coletta, M.D. the Blue Sky missions began to provide surgical care to indigent Haitians in 2007. To provide financial support for those missions Blue Sky Surgical,Inc. was established as a Pennsylvania public charity in 2018.
Starting in October 2023, with Haiti in turmoil, Blue Sky broadened its mission to include surgical services to the poor of Honduras. This September we will add pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecological and general/family medical care to our mission in Honduras, increasing the size of our Mission Team to over 30 healthcare professionals and support personnel, all of whom are volunteers.

A real difference.
While there may be debate about how to best deliver care in America, there should be little debate about how fortunate we are to have a healthcare system at all. With your help, we have been able to share some of our fortune to make a real difference for families in Haiti and Honduras.
